Add2Basket – Episode 015
released March 21, 2012
This is probably the kind of set I would spin on the Bentley rooftop, like we did back in 2010. Good times… I dedicate this mix to all the nice people I hung out with at WMC 2009 and 2010.

Luke Fair – Episode 015

Lots of varied house sounds in this one. I started with a bunch of great tunes that I wasn’t sure would go well together, but turned them into a mix I’m really happy with on my first attempt. I have some new tracks to look out for in the coming weeks.

Luke Fair – Episode 014
released February 14, 2012
Episode 014 joins 010 and 008 as the episodes of mine I’m most proud of. I’ve given up some of the funk for more textured melodies and emotion. I didn’t plan to go this way but it’s just what came out of all my recent music. Hope you like it too.

This could be a little time travelling mix, as I’m soooo bored of most of the copycat productions that come out these days. It’s so rare to find something original and unique. Everybody is making the same beats with the same bases. Again you’ll hear the more melodic side of me with one of my favourite intros of the past 14 episodes. Hope this will win your heart.

Luke Fair – Episode 012
released November 21, 2011
This one goes nice and deep throughout. After releasing a five-part live set, I thought that it would be appropriate to keep things on the deeper tip. I’ve got a habit of buying tons of tunes that I can rarely use in clubs, but still need to be heard. So here they are.

Add2Basket – Episode 011

The show must go on…. Each episode continues to be my favourite. It’s my shortest Rogue mix, but you still get the story I want to tell. I insisted to include the amazing intro from Yonderboi’s (Hungary) new album (Passive Control), that everyone must hear… of course, after you’ve listened to The Rogue Show. The typical weird ending comes straight from 1984.

This turned out to be another story teller mix. With simply browsing it you won’t get the message, so you better give it a full listen from the beginning to the end. A bit of everything again , intelligent house music, some cosmic disco, a kick ass funk tune (coming out on Add2Basket Records) even a big beat track and a beautiful indie song at the very end. Bon Voyage dear listener!

Tried to expand the mix again as much as I can, including a bit of this and a bit of that. Found a beautiful part in the new Bibio album that I ended up using as the intro, its probably my favourite part of the mix. But in general, I consider Episode 009 as another baby of mine, that i am pretty proud of.

Again I tried to extend the mix to as long as possible so it could still fit on a CD. Got badly bored of the thousands of tech house releases coming out every week, so I decided to put together something more for the soul. The coordinates from beginning till the end are: slow motion and deep disco, deep house, house, and some melodies to end again.

This has a lot more straight-up house than the previous mixes, and it’s probably the deepest. Despite all the tunes being relatively new, the mix has a pretty nostalgic vibe for me because of all the old school and classic vibes in most of the music.

Luke Fair – Episode 004
released September 23, 2010
This is probably my favorite studio mix I’ve made in a few years as I absolutely love every single tune. There’s a lot of great vocals in it which is rare to find these days, combined with the usual disco and retro influences. The whole mix peaks at about 121 BPM then slows back down again towards the end.

Luke Fair & Add2Basket – Episode 003 – Pt1
released August 15, 2010

The second hour is where you start to realize how much prep the guys put into this gig. Luke knows first hand what the Footwork floor is there for so as we move into peak time The Rogue Show displays the techier side to their groove… but of course there is no shortage of soul to sink your teeth into.

Add2Basket – Episode 002
released June 22, 2010
This episode turned out to be very experimental. It’s the first time I insisted to include all the tunes I wanted and even used some of my old vinyl. The flow maybe isn’t that perfect, but I wanted to make something different than usual. It’s for summer anyway and I feel it has a nice vibe to it.

Nothing too different here, just a straight up house mix from start to finish. It has a bit more of a disco flavour than normal with a new bootleg remix I did of an old Roy Ayers tune. I think having no air conditioning until last week got me in the summer mood a bit early.

Luke Fair – Episode 001
released May 11, 2010
This mix was inspired by Miami a bit—more from the weather, settings and friends than from any music I heard. It starts off nice and chill, then builds up to some bigger melodic house stuff. Overall, this mix is fairly typical of my usual sound, but I definitely put a lot more thought than usual into the sequencing.

For the first episode, I have put together a mix that is more house-oriented than usual. I stayed clear of the Nu-Disco influences, but still tried to keep a disco vibe for the whole mix. I played many of these tracks live when Luke and I launched our Rogue Show residency in Budapest in April.
