In today’s EDM, if you stay true to yourself and your sound, you’re being “rogue.” There are so many temptations to veer off course in search of fame, sticking to who you are is actually outside the norm.

Given the character of both Luke Fair and Add2Basket, it’s no surprise The Rogue Show was able keep it fresh and fun throughout our almost 30-month run. Despite long, frustrating track hunts, where it seemed one selection after the other didn’t fit the concept, the guys still managed to put together one of the industry’s most upfront collections of underground house.

Unfortunately, all great things come to a close. It’s been an amazing journey, but we’ve reached the end of the road for The Rogue Show. We gained traction with every episode, but felt it was important to draw the curtain while our listeners still wanted more. After 20 sensational shows,  I believe we achieved our goal, because I for one want so much more.

Therein lays the beauty of this scene; as one door closes, another opens. We have some very cool plans in the works for 2013 and they definitely include both Luke Fair and Add2Basket. These guys LOVE this music. It’s in their DNA to want to give us more, and we’ll do our best to help satisfy everybody’s craving for what The Rogue Show consistently had in store.

For now, sit back and indulge in this final act. Let’s also admire the sights and sounds of the previous episodes, because this wasn’t about Luke Fair and Add2Basket alone. It was also conceived and maintained to showcase the creativity of the phenomenal designers who contributed cover art to The Rogue Show gallery.

We’ve assembled an amazing collection of eclectic design with this project. Props to Jason Warth for deliciously returning to close the podcast after opening it with ten priceless works of art. Huge thanks to Roland SiposZack Milosevich of, Shannon PattersonCesar CaballeroAndrew DaviesPaul Watson and Jason Darbyson of re.form [avw]; The Rogue Show visuals are just as impressive as the audio because of all of you.  So much love goes out to this insanely talented group of artists, your magic touch has sincerely made this series a cut above.

We’d like to extend one final thank you to everyone who subscribed to the podcast or found the mixes on SoundCloud. The interest has been truly overwhelming and very much appreciated. We’re sad to see the collaboration go, but super excited for what’s next. Whatever that is, you can guarantee Luke Fair and Add2Basket will continue to pass the rogue test.

For the final mix I decided to change it up and play a lot of personal favorites from my oldest sets. A lot of these tunes I was playing before I ever started touring and were staples of my early Toronto residencies.  Most of the tracks range in age from 10-15 years old.

Putting this last mix together was a lot of fun and brought back a lot of great memories. I did my best to find the ones that have aged really well and still sound great today. A big thanks to everyone who followed the podcast as well as to Gregor, Andrew, Jason and all the other talented designers who did our artwork.

The Rogue Show – Episode 020 – Add2Basket

Thanks to the unfriendly people at Sony Music Media, this set has been pulled from our SoundCloud archive because of the use of ‘Hurricane” by MS MR.’ Get a hold of us through our contact form and we’ll figure a way to send the set to you.

Wow, I can’t believe it’s over! It was such a nice experience.

I would like to say a huge thanks to Gregor, who kept kicking our asses to pull out all episodes proper. Gregor, you are a mate!  Luke, you are one of the few DJs who inspired me to get involved in electronic music, it was a big pleasure to do something together.  I really enjoyed our back2back set in Toronto; wish we could repeat it again at some point. Jason and all the graphic wizards, thanks for all the kick-ass designs. To make them with such a passion… I hope The Rogue Show was a great reference and you receive million dollar deals just because of that!

Thanks to everyone who listened to the episodes, it would be such a cool thing to get together with all of you and see your faces, as we know nothing about you, and you know just a very little about us. I thought to break the usual formula and make something different (including a track list), so you can take it as a little invitation to my inside world, at least a little part of it. And to leave some good news at the end of a year of writer’s block.

I am back in the studio, working on some cool new songs, so you’ll probably hear a lot more from me in 2013. But before all that, I take a nice big jet plane to Toronto in December and promise to make it a memorable night!  For now, open a bottle of wine or roll a nice piece of weed and enjoy the grand finale!

Much Love, Andrew
