The LocALe – Cesar Caballero & Dustin Nantais

Our residency at Toika Lounge is now in full effect. We’re in the house every second Saturday of the month for the unforeseeable future and we are super pumped about it!!

Cesar Caballero & Dustin NantaisThe new ownership is super cool. They’re extremely accommodating and so down for making a proper INTIMATE & UNDERGROUND experience for the bringthebeats / Groove Garden crew.

The sound technician is serious about tuning the system just right. We chatted for about 20min at the DJs for Lease party this past weekend and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in the club sounding the best it can… which is pretty damn great we must say.

The door staff is awesome and has no problem with us keeping it going into the after hours. The bartender is really sweet and was pretty quick on her own this past weekend and throughout The LocALe in June. We really couldn’t be in a more perfect situation as we approach the bringthebeats 10yr anniversary series.

Before Luke Fair launches the series on August 11th, we have one more residents showcase this Saturday night, July 14th. Cesar Caballero and Dustin Nantais are back for an encore presentation of deep, groovy, funky progressive house for FREE!! That’s right there’s absolutely no cover, just good times, cool people and sensational beats all night long.

Let’s be real, we know it’s next to impossible to get the underground on the dance floor before midnight, so we thought we’d release the first couple hours of June’s installment of The LocALe.  These guys are definitely masters of the peak time; however, it’s their uncanny ability to open the room with warm, emotional grooves that separates our residents from the rest of the Toronto.

Treat yourself to the full spectrum of Cesar and Dustin’s talent by arriving early and staying late. It looks like it’s gonna rain on Sunday, so plan on sleeping in.  We’ll provide the seductive tunes for your sweet dreams after Saturday night.
