What can I say? We’re extremely humbled that Ricky continues to promote our efforts through his masterpiece mixes. Really, it’s the ultimate compliment to have someone recognize your friendship and support through their hard work, dedication and devotion.
Once again our brother from a South American mother has compiled a kaleidoscope of sound in two very Involver-like mixes and one that is all about fun. Our shared outlook on how a compilation should be constructed stems from our mutual love for Sasha and his visionary approach to electronic music. It makes my chest swell with pride to hear mixes that I believe are equal to the genius of our hero.
Part 1 is bright cosmic delight, reminiscent of the GU 13 vibe. It encourages deep thought, getting lost in the moment and finding yourself in a place that wishes can only direct you to. It’s music from the heart.

What’s best about these mixes, about all of Ricky’s recent promos; damn… about all good house music in general; is that it can be whatever you want it to be. There’s no bro from the hood telling you the way it is, a cowboy preaching about what it was or some diva teasing you about how it should be.
