A steady stream of great promos and live sets make it our way each week. There’s still so much amazing music out there and all the awesome DJs passing it on reminds us of this almost every day.

I wish we had the structure to host all sets we receive, but unfortunately with the limited resources we’re working with, we have to narrow down our posts to the styles we hope to push the most.

Sometimes however, we come across sets in our regular bomb hunting on the boards that totally tantalize our tastes. This live mix in particular had an added hook right in the file name, “opening set for Luke Fair.”

Now I’ve only been on the floor for a minute fraction of Luke’s gigs worldwide, but I can’t imagine a more proper warm up set than the one from Latenta Project that we’re hosting below. This is how you get a Luke Fair party started!

Deep, funky progressive is what you get from this Macedonian house trio. I’m not sure of their presentation format, back to back to back, three or four in a row or maybe they’re mixing all together. Regardless of how they’re laying down, I guarantee the dance floor is getting down.

Since we don’t have a warm up act for Luke on Boxing Day, why don’t you download this set and let it loose for your pre party shenanigans. I promise this is the mood you want to be in before you walk into Toika on December 26th.
