Holoween at the Leopard Lounge, Atlanta

Alex Fish and Noah Becker continue their all out assault on the dance music scene this year. Our brothers from the Big Apple have blasted the boards with a crazy number of wicked Holsound promos and live sets, and their Citric label has released seven quality releases in ‘08.

Citric’s latest release “Jailforthings” is a Holosound original that’s crept into the tracklists of a few of my favorite mixes right now. Dana Bergquist describes it as “proper groovy heads down dance deepness.” It’s definitely one of the year’s top tracks; the Andreas Bergmann mix is the stand out for me.

The set we’re hosting below is from their most recent recording on Halloween weekend, live from the Leopard Lounge in Atlanta. It’s a vintage Holosound fusion of progressive house and bumpy tech, accented with slick vocal samples that give the entire set incredibly cool character.
